Among the chain of fall/winter fashion weeks and the movie awards happening every early year, the Grammys is like a refreshing drink in a much fulfilling savory five course meal. And we’re saying that in the best way possible for all kinds of celebratory events!
And of course, expect us listing a bunch of musicians in their best red carpet looks here!
Kaskade
American DJ Kaskade came with an effortless but very proper look. The black and gold houndstooth patterned blazer adds so much class – especially when topped off with that vintage golden brooch.
Pusha-T in Thom Browne
A true believer of an updated black suit, the details on Pusha‘s Thom Browne suit spoke loudly here. From the sequinned hems along the lapels, pockets and cuffs to the ankle pants and the velvet loafers.
Jon Batiste in Coach
Probably Batiste‘s tribute to the Beatles’ Sgt. Peppers era, the colonial military jacket from Coach is more stylish than tacky. Thanks to the pitch black turtle neck and the subdued leather jacket and boots, the jacket certainly made a statement.
Kane Brown in Versace
The country music hero of the digital age, Kane appear a million dollars with minimum efforts. Versace dressed him in a simple black blazer suit combo, plus their signature renaissance gold patterned shirt underneath. Money!
Swae Lee in MX by Maxime Simoens
Spider-Man’s favorite rapper Swae Lee is a rising star, and he definitely dressed like one. His white lace shirt and sequins studded trousers combo from MX are both revolutionary and classy.
Charlie Puth in Prada
Prada is really into double breasted suit jackets this season – we found several last night. But Charlie Puth‘s brown suit made our list simply because it’s pops out on the red carpet, even if the color is meant to be understated.
Shawn Mendes in Paul Smith
Mendes‘ experiments with various mix and match of colors for his suits is both admirable and inspiorational. This blue Paul Smith set, along with the black shirt and boots are just flawless.
Mark Ronson in Celine
A contrast to Hedi Slimane’s usual signature silhouettes, Ronson took the opposite direction when his Celine double breasted jacket comes in white instead of black (although the black peak lapel made it even more striking.)
Zedd in Emporio Armani
The Russian born DJ certainly knows how to dress the part of a spotlighted nominee: with an intricate embroidered velvet dress jacket courtesy of Emporio Armani. The outfit made Zedd bursts with confidence and absolutely owned the evening.
Miguel in SSS World Corp
There’s much simplicity and nonchalant-ness in Miguel‘s colorful SSS World Corp combo. The streetwear’s experiment towards red carpet royalty certainly works. Miguell has so much swag, while being effortlessly dapper at the same time. Also, we just can’t get our eyes off those purple pants!
