Gucci Debuts Wearable, Capsule Collection, Films

In the midst of all the “cats,” “dogs,” and a myriad of vibrant colors of Gucci‘s cruise 2017 show, it’s easy to miss a piece of watch, no matter how special that timepiece is. Gucci took to Instagram to confirm the debut of its smart watch, which was designed by Alessandro Michele together with Will.i.Am’s company i.am+.

The fashion house has also revealed that it will be releasing a limited-edition capsule collection for Dover Street Market. Consisting of four pieces, the capsule will be available on June 12 online and at Dover Street Market Ginza, London, New York and Beijing.

At the same time, Gucci has also released four short films on its website.

Ryan Reynolds is Leaving Blake Lively… But Not Really.

Piaget announced “Deadpool” actor and Blake Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds as its new brand ambassador. In a very Deadpool-like Instagram post, Reynolds announced that he’s “happy to have joined the @piaget family!” He follows the sentence with, “I’ll greatly miss my real family, but we all know this is for the best.” Ha!

Lemaire & Uniqlo’s Collaboration Goes One Step Further

Two successful collaborative collections have been enough to show everyone that Christophe Lemaire and Uniqlo are a match made in heaven. And Hermès‘ former artistic director of womenswear has now confirmed that he’s going to be more involved in Uniqlo, as Lemaire has been appointed the artistic director of Uniqlo’s R&D Centre.
