What We Learned From New York Men’s Fashion Week 2019: Part 3

Finally we are here. It was not an easy list to compile, especially with more coeds than there are designated menswear shows. Alas, the top three trends we caught on the runway shows of New York Men’s Fashion Week fall/winter 2019/20!

Holy City Rollers

Top: Tom Ford, Michael Kors, Boss
Bottom: Todd Snyder, Zadig & Voltaire, Coach

Leather jacket in cold New York  winter is just essential – just like their pizza on any given day. Choose any style you want – the rockstar, the biker, the undercover, or the blaxploitation vigilante.

Tan Lines

Top: Michael Kors, Ryan Roche, Todd Snyder
Bottom: Dirty Pineapple, Boss, John Elliott

The most notable color scheme appearing in multiple runways was tan and all its variations. Based on our reports from other FWs’, we guess it’s official that the earthy tones trend is the one to go this season.

Stay Sharp

Top: Zang Toi, Tom Ford, Boss
Bottom: Palomo Spain, Todd Snyder, Michael Kors

What’s New York without its plethora of crisp suits? This season went with most basic: two piece, two button max, no updated reconstructions. Also keep it plain and dark.
