Tudor Heritage Black Bay Steel And Gold
Presented at Baselworld 2017, Tudor’s famous Heritage Black Bay divers’ watch is now available in a new steel and gold version. The Black Bay S&G, as it is called, comes with some aesthetic updates and characteristic elements drawn from Tudor’s history. It inherits its general lines, as well as its domed dial and crystal, from the brand’s first diving watches. The lines and proportions of the Black Bay are retained, while the rotating bezel and the winding crown made from gold bring a new expression to the watch. Driven by the Tudor in-house movement caliber MT5612, the models in this line combine key aesthetics from history with modern day watchmaking.

Since its launch in 2003, the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra has become a cornerstone collection for Omega. For 2017, Omega added a slightly different two-tone version in the 2017 Seamaster Aqua Terra collection. While the dial and overall shape is equal to the steel models, there are some differences present. The 41mm case is offered in a combination of steel and 18K Sedna Gold—Omega’s own pink gold alloy—for the bezel and the crown. The dial is silver with black inscriptions and no color details, keeping the watch rather subtle. Powered by either the Omega Master Chronometer Caliber 8800 or 8900, which are both Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS)-certified movements, this new watch gives the perfect balance between sophistication and ocean spirit.

Powered by a self-winding caliber, this new Tambour Moon GMT represents one of Louis Vuitton’s most cherished themes: travel. With the rice grain pattern that recalls the weave of the Damier Graphite fabric at the center and GMT function with oversized yellow V as indicator, this new expression of the Tambour adheres to the aesthetic codes that made the original such a resounding success.
