NikeLab x Kim Jones is Coming

It feels like yesterday when we wrote about NikeLab and Olivier Rousteing‘s soccer-inspired collection. And now here we are, writing about the former’s next collaboration with none other than Kim Jones, Louis Vuitton‘s artistic director for the men’s department.

Jones took to his Instagram last night to make an announcement about the upcoming capsule but, except for “Coming July 2016” in the caption, nothing else has been confirmed yet.

You might remember that, like Jones, Rousteing also published his NikeLab x OR logo on his Instagram before an official statement was released. It is interesting, though, to note that each logo seems to represent the designer’s personality very well; Jones’ modest logo is significantly different that Rousteing’s more glamorous one.

Also interesting is the fact that Jones used to work for streetwear and sportswear labels, so we’re setting high expectations for the collection.

In another Instagram post, Jones has finally confirmed the release date. The collaborative collection will arrive on July 22!
