It was a great kickoff to the soccer-inspired collection
After warming up with an exhibition in Shanghai, China, Balmain‘s creative director Olivier Rousteing officially launched Football Nouveau, his collaborative collection with NikeLab last Wednesday, June 1, 2016.
Held in the Cité Universitaire in Paris, France, the party was attended by Rousteing’s celebrity guests (because it won’t be a Balmain event without one), including Alexandre Mattiussi, the founder of menswear brand AMI and Chris Brown, who was dressed in the black-and-gold track jacket from the collection.
Taking its inspiration from soccer, Football Nouveau arrives at stores just in time for Euro 2016, which will start on Friday, June 10. Read more about the collection here.
