After a strew of limited edition collaborative capsule collections with high-end fashion brands like Gucci, Lanvin and COS, the online retail giant, Mr. Porter has announced another collection for this summer. As an homage to the state of California, the capsule collection has been named “Made in California” and will consist of a whopping 146 exclusive items ranging from apparel, shoes and accessories from 12 different brands.
The items in the collection boast a wonderful mash-up of surf, skate, street and casual wares that are seen as perfect representations of the Californian Spirit. Not only that, the brands all happen to be based in the Golden State. The “Made in California” collection features such brands as Rick Owens, John Elliott, Stüssy, Amiri, The Elder Statesman, Golden Bear, James Perse, Mollusk Surf, Noon Goons, Outerknown, Second/Layer as well as Simon Miller.
