TWIST AND TURN. Bulgari Bulgari watches have always been starkly recognizable thanks to the etching of the brand’s name on the bezel
But this time around, the Italian house is setting a new trend with a woven leather strap—a modish take on the woven hemp of the Bulgari Roma timepiece from 1975. But as you admire the twists of the beautiful leather strips, turn the watch on its side and take notice of how the 40mm carbon resin-coated stainless steel case sandwiches an engraved 18K pink gold plate, which sports an “1884” etching—the year of the brand’s inception. Both the dial and the leather strap arrive in three luxurious tones: black, brown and blue. Each piece runs on an automatic movement caliber B77 with 42 hours of power reserve.
