Actor John Huston, who rose to fame after starring in “Boardwalk Empire,” has a lot on his plate this year
For one, he’s the male lead of much-awaited “Ben-Hur” remake that will hit theaters in August. And now, it has been revealed that he’s also the main star of Tod’s fall/winter 2016 campaign.
Wearing key pieces from the brand’s fall/winter 2016 offering, Huston looks right at home, figuratively and literally, in the images from the campaign. Perhaps it’s because he’s part-Italian. “I love the food, culture and people in Italy. I spent six months filming there last year and my family all fell in love. I’d love to end up in Italy rather soon and call it home. It’s magical,” Huston says, as quoted from WWD.
Being the nephew of actress Anjelica Huston and grandson of renowned director John Huston, the British actor has been spending his whole life in the industry and is no doubt a natural in front of the camera. Still, he credits the crew for the sophisticated campaign and stylish photographs. “It was a fun and natural collaboration and everyone made me feel comfortable and at ease. And nothing felt forced. I’m happy with how the images turned out.”
