Les Parfums Louis Vuitton unveiled a new fragrance, Étoile Filante, composed in Grasse by Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. A voyage for the senses and nestled in the house’s signature perfume bottle, the scent captures the essence of a pure creation nourished by memories. To that end, the perfumer chose Osmanthus, a flower that is venerated in the Far East and which he has adored since childhood. The natural fruity nuances of apricot and cassis gives the Étoile Filante a unique softness. Then comes a touch of jasmine from Grasse, sun-ripened strawberry and a shimmering whisper of white musk.

Sensatia Botanicals presents the new Elements Fragrance Collection. The innovative new range consists of fragrance selections with two different concentrations, perfume and eau de cologne, in three different options for men and women. Of these, the Neptunium (Np) for men is a deeply nuanced fragrance containing natural botanical ingredients that are reminiscent of the sultry aromas from a tropical spice market. Both deeply soothing and utterly exotic, it features extracts of sandalwood, nutmeg, cinnamon and cocoa seed that impart rich earthy notes, while clary sage, lavender and vetiver add lively undertones.

Fueled by the many faces of the lion in the world of Chanel, Olivier Polge endeavored to transpose this radiant strength into the Le Lion de Chanel. This appropriation of the animal by the house gave him the idea to leave his own mark on a powerful archetype: oriental fragrances, a refined intensity, contained by a soft and warm signature. A few sparkling citrus notes—lemon, bergamot—bring the essential burst befitting to the first moments of a great fragrance. An ambery accord, the heart of cistus labdanum, a lively resin with animal notes, is then tamed with a custom-crafted essence. Moving on, cistus labdanum and vanilla intertwine in a smooth and enveloping pas de deux, blending together with the sensual and creamy sandalwood tempers the musky vegetality of a raw patchouli.
