Barnett O&#8217;Hara did a stint modeling at one time and was the ambassador/face of Foot locker Europe. As a youngster, he studied stage acting in New York City and had his first lead role in a local production of Cabaret.
&nbsp;
One of his first roles ever on the big-screen was in <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0449088/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pirates of the Caribbean: At World&#8217;s End</a> (2007), where he had a bit part; actually it was an uncredited role where his hand stood in for Johnny Depp&#8217;s character Jack Sparrow. But that led to a speaking part in a film called <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1220627/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hard Breakers</a> (2010) and a semi-regular role as the &#8220;Guitar Dude&#8221; during the the past two seasons of the TV series <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1131746/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Big Time Rush</a>. He&#8217;s also worked on another couple of roles, <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1622561/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">My Trip to the Dark Side</a> and next year&#8217;s <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1810710/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">My Trip Back to the Dark Side</a>.
&nbsp;
In addition to his acting roles, Barnett also is a guitarist for a punk-rock band named Division 623. Here, Barnett gives DA MAN some insights into his life and work while displaying a very fashionable side.

Barnett O&#8217;Hara: My first lead role in a production—a regional theater performance of Cabaret. It helped solidify my decision to pursue acting after having gone to the neighborhood playhouse school of theater in New York City.

DA MAN: You can’t live without…
Barnett O&#8217;Hara: I can&#8217;t live without my guitar. I play it daily and love to write music as a singer-songwriter and to play my favorite songs.

Barnett O&#8217;Hara: My idea of happiness is being able to use my talents to bring happiness into people&#8217;s lives and change to the world.

Barnett O&#8217;Hara: I value loyalty. Being able to trust those around you and being trusted yourself as a confidant and friend is very important.

DA MAN: Something that you’ve not told anyone is…
Barnett O&#8217;Hara: Something that I&#8217;ve never told anyone is that I don&#8217;t get stage fright or nervous before an audition, but I tend to get anxious in real-life stressful situations.

Barnett O&#8217;Hara: Life&#8217;s journey has been pretty amazing so far, but in a more real-world sense. I loved my trip to the redwood forest. It&#8217;s quite majestic up there and humbling as well.
