THE SIZZLING SIX. Truly a festive celebration, DA MAN threw its sixth anniversary party at Burgundy Lounge, Grand Hyatt Hotel Jakarta, May 22. MC-ed by Rahmah Umayya, the event featured Nick Wechsler, main star of TV series “Revenge,” and Todd Anthony Tyler, judge of “Asia’s Next Top Model.” The highlight of the evening was a silent auction, in which the guests could snag a chance to stay at Bali’s fine establishments: Alila Ubud Bali, Bulgari Hotels &amp; Resorts Bali, Ize Seminyak, Komaneka, Banyan Tree Ungasan, The Amala Seminyak Bali, and Anantara Resort &amp; Spa. All of the proceeds went to support the Yayasan Balita Sehat in Jakarta. The party wouldn&#8217;t be possible without the support of the event partners, namely Time Place/Tudor, Martell/Pernord Ricard and Lanvin. The collaborative efforts of both Tudor and DA MAN have been going on for three solid years since 2011. For every anniversary party, just like this one, Tudor presented something special for the winner of the best dressed attendee. Exquisitely dressed from head to toe, Katya Douglas took the stage as the winner of the sixth anniversary party, and brought home a hefty sum of US$1,000 prize money. Yet as they say, winning isn’t everything, as everyone had the chance to be photographed wearing a sleek Tudor watch collection and collected the individual photographs afterwards. The attendance of the city’s notable personalities rounded out the party fever. Daniel Mananta, Julie Estelle, Reza Rahardian and Adinda Bakrie are to name some of the who’s who looking radiant at the event. Topping off the occasion was a special performance by Sean Rumsey, the hottest crooner fresh from the UK’s The Voice. The vibe continued till the wee hours in the morning as the DJ played pumping thumbs that kept everybody gyrating and dancing like there’s no tomorrow. See you next year!
