The annual MTV Video Music Awards gathered many notable names. And as expected, the guests (nominees and attendees alike) came with their respective fashion statements—from tweaking the formal attire to donning blinged up streetwear.
Of course, we have our own list of the event’s best dressed men. The iconic moonman should also be given to these stylish men:
21 Savage

The rapper not only came to win one of the night’s most important award (Song of the Year, shared with Post Malone), but he came upping the streetwear look with an autumn-themed embroidered denim jacket.
Bazzi
Nominated for Best New Artist, Bazzi looked to win the crowd along the way with this dandy combo of the colonial military red jacket with a pair houndstooth trousers, and some wicked army boots.
Brendon Urie
Panic! At the Disco’s frontman came with a subdued version of his emo days. Subtle glam elements are seen on his loafers and long coat. Brendon translates the upcoming fall/winter better than anybody else.
G-Eazy
No matter how fun, the VMAs is still an award show. Thus, there should be at least one guy that wears an occasion-appropriate suit. G-Eazy’s perfectly fit blue suit shows character, while the nude T-shirt made it a VMA staple.
Liam Payne

Who says simple can’t be good? In Liam’s case here, actually underdressed can appear as good as those putting more effort. Maybe it’s the sleeve tattoos, maybe it’s the necklace, maybe it’s the lack of belt – but it worked.
Logic
You have to give it to rappers and their confidence in pulling off streetwear—and getting away with it. All multiple VMA nominee Logic did was a little color coding his two most distinct items – with obvious great results.
Nyle DiMarco
The fashion model clearly doesn’t want to steal the scene with his rather quiet outfit. But in the end, with the proper fit and length of both blazer and trousers, he actually did appear more polished than most chumps there last night.
Shawn Mendes

Nominated for three moonmen, this was a night to remember for Shawn—and for that he definitely dressed to impress. Everything looked completely great, but we personally drool over that two-tone double-breasted jacket.
Tyga
Yes, denim on denim is back. And yes, the VMA is probably the only award show where you can see this trend on full display. Fortunately for us, Tyga pulled it off flawlessly.
Victor Cruz

The American football superstar came with an outfit that mirrors his sports background to another level. The patterned varsity jacket and the track pants but with a pair of snazzy dress shoes are just instant classics.
