What We Learned From Paris Men’s Fashion Week 2019: Part 4

Finally, the last part of our PMFW report will conclude with the top trends we found on the runways. What are they? See the list below!

In the Jeans

Top: Balmain, Louis Gabriel Nouchi, Off-White
Bottom: GMBH, Maison Mihara Yasuhiro, Wooyoungmi

Denim, in its boundless possible versions, definitely took PMFW by storm. From shirts, jackets, jeans, vests, even the mighty denim on denim combos – it’s the perfect timing for the ultimate urban/suburban casual.

(Un)Clear Motifs

Top: Dries Van Noten, Valentino, Dior Men
Bottom: Walter Van Beirendonck, Facetasm, Commes Des Garcons

Patterns on outfits are the cherry on top. But wild, psychedelic and almost abstract motifs that made the clothes (and its wearer) to stand out is something to be appreciated much.

Down to Earth

Top: Loewe, Berluti, Acne Studios
Bottom: Amiri, Kenzo, Valentino

Probably the only color trend we could find in this vast array of shows, earthy tones that expresses calmness and reliability shook the grounds of Paris. Splash some greens along the way, and you’re good to go.

Leather Lunged

Top: Dior Men, Alyx, CMMN SWDN
Bottom: Hermes, Celine, Berluti

Maybe it’s all because of the elegance of Paris and it’s season appropriate – but our money is on the fact that leather this season has been transformed into more than just a warm coat.
