What We Learned From Paris Men’s Fashion Week 2019: Part 2

In this second part, our attentions were caught to some interesting pieces that (unfortunately) only merit a few runways. Yet we think they deserve more.

Check the list below.

Earn the Stripes

Top: Kenzo, Cerruti 1881, Paul Smith
Bottom: Officine Generale, Sankuanz, Hermes

Yes, the classically elegant pinstripes somehow crawls its way into a few selected runways – albeit in various contemporary looks and colors.

Pocket(s) of Gold

Top: Kenzo. Yoshio Kubo, Louis Vuitton
Bottom: Issey Miyake, Dunhill, Heron Preston

Seeing this one in some of the shows made us realized that we never knew we needed this much pockets. Maybe we still don’t – but they sure look great.

Get into Print

Top: Undercover, OAMC, Dior Men
Bottom: Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Loewe

Very popular 10 to 20 years ago – and mostly associated with summer casual wears. But this season, large pop culture prints on the front and center of your top is slowly making a comeback.

In the Hood

Top: Louis Vuitton, Off-White, Juu J
Bottom: Facetasm, Y3, Walter Van Beirendonck

Even if it’s applied on selected pieces, the hood fits all the various casual and streetwear winter attire better than anything else – also very playful.
