TO THE LEFT, TO THE LEFT. Historic Italian timepiece manufacturer Panerai has a new hand-wound Luminor piece perfect to be worn on the right wrist. Called Luminor 1950 Left-handed 3 Days, the 47mm ticker retains all the characteristics of Panerai.
The bold black dial proposes the ultimate sophistication of legibility, with two superimposed plates enclosing a layer of Super-LumiNova, which guarantees a high degree of luminosity. If you scan the watch from the side, you’ll get to see how thick the dial cover is, which is not a sapphire crystal but a Plexiglas instead. Yet the most striking difference from the usual Panerai units is the winding crown and the crown-protecting device positioned at 9 o’clock or on the left side of the case.
