Through the LifeWear Collection, Uniqlo and Theory showcased a lineup of athleisure pieces that embody the New York spirit
Japanese casual wear brand Uniqlo and New York-based contemporary fashion label Theory share a common interest in functional, innovative and stylish fashion infused with technology. This time around, the two have released a new collaborative creation, the LifeWear 2021 Spring/Summer collection for men and women.
This new collection optimized Uniqlo’s distinctive materials and combines it with the simplicity of character from Theory in a series of fast-forward designs. Highlighted pieces include The W’s Pocketable UV Protection Oversized Parka and the TPJ Pocketable Parka, which are equipped with UV Cut technology to block 90 percent of harmful UV rays and are waterproof to protect the wearer when it’s raining. Also of note is the DRY functionality presented onthe TPJ AIRism Slim Fit S/S Polo Shirt and W’s TPJ Crew Neck Sleeveless T-Shirt and pants, which can be stretched 360 degrees but ensures light and comfortable wear.
Last but not least, Ultra-Light Technology becomes the highlight of the collection, as shown on the TPJ Kando Jacket and Ultra-Light Relaxed Pants that can be worn to the office as part of a professional getup or a stylish-contemporary look.
