Swiss watch brand TUDOR takes on a daring new hue as it becomes the official timekeeper of Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami aka Inter Miami
Swiss watch brand TUDOR and soccer go way back. The watchmaker has been official timekeeper for a number of prominent soccer clubs, released special edition watches dedicated to the sport and— most famously—enjoys a solid relationship with David Beckham, one of the most iconic figures in soccer history and also one of the first of TUDOR’s Born to Dare ambassadors.
And starting this year, TUDOR’s iconic shield will once again become a common sight on the field as the brand has become the official timekeeper of Inter Miami CF, which is co-owned by Beckham along with Jorge Mas and Jose Mas.
As its name implies, Inter Miami—or Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami—is a professional soccer club based in Miami, Florida. The club was officially founded in 2018 by Beckham as part of Major League Soccer’s expansion. Inter Miami then made its debut in the 2020 MLS season.
The name “Inter Miami” reflects its ambition to represent not just the city of Miami but also the wider international community that resides there. The vibrant culture of the city is further reflected in the team’s iconic pink home jersey. Of course, this daring choice of color also represents the daring spirit of the club and its fans, while also ensuring that Inter Miami always stands out on the field.

Like many expansion teams, the club has had their ups and downs in its initial seasons. Still, Inter Miami CF has quickly established itself as a competitive force in MLS with a strong team and an equally passionate fanbase. It certainly helps that it has quite a strong lineup of players, including team captain Lionel Messi and Luis “El Pistolero” Suárez. Beckham’s influence and investment also goes a long way in establishing Inter Miami as a major player in American soccer.
Interestingly, it would seem that TUDOR has made its support for Inter Miami quite clear long before it became the club’s official timekeeper. As mentioned earlier, the Swiss watchmaker has collaborated with Beckham since 2017, before Inter Miami was born, while Beckham has been a fan of TUDOR for even longer before that. A few years after Beckham helped establish Inter Miami, TUDOR presented him with a TUDOR Pelagos watch that bore the Inter Miami CF crest on the dial. As the story goes, Beckham has been wearing that watch at every match.
TUDOR’s collaboration with Inter Miami CF officially began this year, but the Swiss watch brand has believed in the American club’s daring spirit way before then.
