Sony is set to indulge PlayStation fans with the game-changing, groundbreaking NGP.
Sony has big plans to take over the mobile gaming market as proven by other products recently released. Now the PSP 2 or NGP (Next Generation Portable), as the folks at Sony had codenamed it, is changing the game. It is deserving of the “NGP” moniker; its hardware and software certainly seem “next generation” to us. The processor is a quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 (that’s right, quad-core), the display is a 5-inch OLED capacitive touch-screen with quadruple the resolution of its predecesor, there is also a rear-mounted touch-pad to introduce new, innovative ways to play games by finger gesturing on the back of the device. According to Sony, the gameplay graphics will rival what the PlayStation 3 can produce. Set for wide global release soon, gamers are already clamoring for it.
