Cartier is expanding its LOVE Unlimited collection with new designs that reinterpret the line’s signature codes, introducing a fluid gold necklace alongside diamond-set bracelets and rings that offer a more luminous alternative to its iconic screw motif.

The necklace brings a new dimension to the collection’s familiar aesthetic. Available in rose gold, yellow gold and rhodium-plated white gold, it unfolds around the neck like a golden ribbon, its supple arrangement of gadrooned links punctuated by the distinctive LOVE screws. The result balances the collection’s recognizable geometry with a more fluid silhouette.

Diamonds lend another dimension to the new variations. The refined bracelets feature a series of 0.80-carat round diamonds held in specially devised screw-shaped settings crafted from white gold, including on the rose- and yellow-gold versions. The contrasting settings enhance the stones’ brilliance while maintaining a visual connection to LOVE’s defining design element.

Beneath the polished surfaces lies considerable technical precision. Creating LOVE Unlimited bracelets and necklaces involves assembling 200 miniaturized components, each polished entirely by hand. The diamond-set bracelets introduce an additional challenge, requiring carefully selected stones to be integrated into the intricate construction. An invisible, Cartier-patented clasp also allows the diamond version to connect with another bracelet, opening up possibilities for layering and personal combinations alongside the original all-gold design.

The collection’s latest chapter is accompanied by a photographic series starring actor Jacob Elordi, captured in Paris by his sister, Isabella Elordi. The portraits bring a more intimate perspective to a campaign built around love, connection and freedom, with the Seine providing a visual metaphor for infinity.

For Isabella, the collaboration draws on a personal familiarity that informs her approach to portraiture. Having trained as a professional ballet dancer at the Australian Ballet School in Melbourne before transitioning to photography, she brings an understanding of movement and physical expression to her work. Her relationship with Jacob adds another dimension to that perspective.

“There is a unique connection in photographing my brother—an ease and understanding that allows space for something honest to emerge,” Isabella says. “I wanted to capture Jacob as I know him, while reflecting the elegance and freedom at the heart of LOVE Unlimited.”

That sense of freedom has been central to Cartier’s LOVE story since 1969, when designer Aldo Cipullo created the original bracelet in New York. Conceived as a radical expression of love, it challenged conventional ideas of romantic jewelry. The LOVE Unlimited collection carries that spirit forward, retaining the design language that made the original distinctive while allowing for new forms, finishes and combinations. Its latest additions continue that evolution, offering fresh interpretations of a familiar icon.
