To commemorate ts 60th anniversary, SEGA has created a miniaturized version of its classic Game Gear console. Titled “The Game Gear Micro,” this console is a revival of the brand’s 8-bit handheld system and only portable game console, which was originally released back in 1990.
Like its famous predecessor, this new retro console also comes with duo-button controls that sit next to a tiny screen, whereas the “SEGA” and “GAME GEAR” branding is etched on the right and left side corners of the screen. The console’s nostalgic design is completed with a small speaker on the bottom left and comes in four colors: black, blue, yellow and red. More importantly, four masterpiece games of the time are built into each console.
