Fossil, the brand mostly identified with their retro looking watches and leather goods have taken Archie Andrews of Riverdale fame himself, KJ Apa, as their brand new ambassador.
A promotional video have been released, showing a casual interview with KJ about his Samoan heritage, his musical passion and love for his family – also every once in a while featuring the Fossil watch that he wear.
This is not the first time for the New Zealand actor and musician to get hand in hand with a lifestyle brand. Hallenstein Brothers, a menswear brand from his native country have chosen him as one of their new faces earlier this year.
While the watchmakers are notable for their vintage timepieces, the video seem to highlight Fossil’s smartwatch for the younger generation – especially with KJ wearing and operating the new Gen 3 Q Explorist. But from what we see in the campaign photos, KJ is shown wearing Fossil’s wide range of modern timepieces – smartwatch, hybrid and analog.
