Rihanna is set to release new creeper sneakers with Puma, and they’re going to be big. Like, really big
We know this because it’s what usually happens when Rihanna comes out with, well, anything, really. When it comes to her footwear collection, though, the impact has been immediate and, as we mentioned before, big.
The first set of creepers from her Fenty collection with Puma, for instance, were sold out instantly. And then, when she teamed up with Manolo Blahnik for a limited-edition capsule collection, the brand’s website crashed because there were too many people trying to purchase a pair.
For summer 2016, Rihanna is rereleasing her highly popular Fenty creepers in three new colorways: All-white, green with Bordeaux-colored Puma stripe and black with black satin stripe. The last two also come with premium suede uppers.
These Rihanna x Puma creepers will be available on Puma’s official website starting May 26, 2016.
Update: Surprise, surprise. Racked reports that, after causing Puma’s website to crash repeatedly, the new sneakers are sold out online in less than 45 minutes. Even though more shoes will still be available in select Puma stores, Opening Ceremony, Nordstrom and Bloomingdales, we all know it’s only a matter of time before they all fly off the rack.
