Twenty-one-year-old Frenchman (from Corsica) Baptiste Giabiconi has become one of the world’s top models and elite watchmaker Richard Mille has named him one of its celebrity ambassadors.
One of Karl Lagerfeld’s main showpieces since 2008, Giabiconi has been featured prominently in the world’s most respected fashion magazines including Vogue, Numero, V Man, Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel Hommes and others.
One influential website, Models.com, gives him the highest ranking among male models. Currently the “go to” face of the fashion kingpins Chanel and Fendi, Baptiste is also becoming a bit of a rock star.
In addition to his modeling and new role for Richard Mille, Giabiconi is also branching out into music with a popular music video entitled “Showtime,” in which, he wears the Richard Mille RM016 timepiece.
His cool blend of rock and glamour would have been the obvious appeal for the marketing execs at Richard Mille.
