COMICAL DIMENSION. The city of angels is the backdrop for Prada’s spring/summer 2018 campaign, inspired by the fearless individuality and dynamic lives of youth culture in the city
Remembering back to Prada’s Spring/Summer 2018 runway show last year, the comic strip theme was carried throughout the collection. Now it seems that the comic strip motive has spread out to the brands line of accessories for men. Just look at Prada’s latest campaign for its accessories for men this season. Traveling to Los Angeles to highlight the new collection, the campaign dubbed “In the City”, not only showcases the new line of bags for men by the Italian brand but the magnificent skyline of the city of angels.
“Like the characters who hold them, every piece is an absolute individual, with its own precise point of view,” said a representative of Prada, explaining the new collection. “Inspired by the multiple narratives of comic book strips, and featuring unique works by graphic novel artists, each accessory tells its own story, evokes its own emotion.
The campaign features male models Christian Heritage, Benj Draper, and Jordan Sannicks, photographed by seasoned photographer of numerous campaigns, Willy Vanderperre.
