“Esprit was more than clothing—it was one of the first brands we remember speaking about community,” shares <a href="http://daman.co.id/?s=Opening%20Ceremony" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Opening Ceremony</a>&#8216;s co-creators <a title="DA MAN Style Exclusive: Humberto Leon &amp; Carol Lim of Kenzo" href="http://daman.co.id/designer-two-is-company/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Humberto Leon and Carol Lim</a> in a statement. So off they went, bringing &#8217;80s-&#8217;90s cool back to 2016.
The collaborative collection comprises 40 men&#8217;s, women&#8217;s and unisex pieces, reissued from <a href="http://daman.co.id/?s=Esprit" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Esprit</a>&#8216;s archive. In an interview with <a href="http://wwd.com/fashion-news/fashion-scoops/opening-ceremony-launches-esprit-collaboration-10527154/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WWD</a>, Leon shares that both he and Lim also modernized some pieces and especially took note of the brand&#8217;s &#8220;distinctive way of outfit clashing.&#8221;
