WORKING MAN’S STYLE. It seems the luxury fashion house has found inspiration in office attire for its fall/winter 2017 collection for men
When the chill of winter begins to fill the air, the type of fashion that many tend to wear, is clothing that is thick and warm, something in the likes of knitwear. But for French luxury fashion house Balenciaga, the stylings of typical office attire paired with its new line of high-end sneakers is the new look prepared for its fall/winter 2017 collection. The seasonal collection, as seen in its current campaign, was shot by photographer Johnny Dufort and styled by Lotta Volkova, features models Jarno Parkkima and Erwin Weder.
The two models showcase Demna Gvasalia’s designs that expand the brand’s image beyond its typical tailored look, adding in a touch of quirkiness reminiscent of Gvasalia’s signature style from Vetements. By combining sharp tailored suits and over-sized overcoats with stylish sportswear, seems to bring the style of the collection more into the realm of high-end street wear. Add to that baggy pants and a layered look, one can be sure to still look chill despite becoming under a few layers to keep warm. The collection is ready to order online at Balenciaga’s official website.
