The long wait has finally come to an end! The high-appreciated streetwear brand Off-White has officially opened its door for their first store in Jakarta. Located in the heart of Plaza Indonesia shopping center, Off-White caters to Indonesian fashion enthusiasts with their Men’s Cruise 2019 collection and Women’s Resort 2019.
Off-White opened their door for the first time on Valentine’s Day, which was on February 14th, 2019, for an invitation-only viewing party. They opened their door for public the next following day, on February 15th 2019.
Fashion enthusiasts, bloggers, rappers and actors came to the opening night to celebrate the brand’s first official store in the Big Durian.
The store is located on the ground floor of the Central Jakarta shopping center. Decorated with white metallic hangers made of satin steel with matching satin steel furniture, the space had a lot of glass and steel element. The floor was marble in black and white, completed with Azul Boquira marble fixtures, making the whole store a perfect reflection of the brand and its personalities.
As a brand, Off-White previously has released men’s and women’s clothing, objects, furniture, and publications. Under the creative minds of Virgil Abloh, the Milan-based design studio of Off-White has helped developing fashion through thought, art theory, and designed experiences. Goes by the tagline of “Defining the grey area between black and white as a color,”, the brand has successfully become fashion’s favorite lovechild of art and design.
We are very excited that the long-awaited brand has finally arrived in Jakarta. Now the brand’s fans won’t have any obstacles on purchasing their creative yet innovative products.
