BRITISH INVASION. With their increasing presence in Hollywood, British actors pack an impressive acting punch aside from their good looks and irresistible accent. These five gents below out of all are definitely ones to watch.

 

1. Ben Schnetzer

Watching his craft, one would certainly say that Schnetzer is such a skilled actor. First appearing in “Happy Town” (2010), his big break came when he scored a role in “The Book Thief” and then “The Riot Club” (2014). Never afraid of taking a controversial role, he landed the main role as a Northern Irish activist named Mark for the crowd-pleasing “Pride” (2014), which is currently airing in the U.K. and several other countries. His upcoming film “Punk’s Dead,” also known as “SLC Punk! 2,” will see him play eccentric-looking, longhaired Ross alongside grown-up child actor Devon Sawa.

The upcoming TV series “The Whispers” will feature Sloane as the lead male actor Wes Lawrence who battles an unseen force.

Standen is a rare breed who has dabbled in various acting roles since a young age. Other than acting as the impetuous Rollo in “Vikings,” he will play mountaineer Edmund Viesturs alongside award-winning actor Jake Gyllenhaal in the upcoming film “Everest.” In the meantime, be sure to catch Standen’s s gruesome performance in the third season of “Vikings.”


5. Freddie Stroma
