Sophisticated Elegance – The highlight from Montblanc at this year’s SIHH fair is none other than the latest Heritage Pulsograph Limited Edition 100.
This is a watch inspired by what many collectors call the “doctor’s watches,” that were used by physicians in the past to check a patient’s heart rate. Powered by the Montblanc Manufacture monopusher chronograph calibre MB M13.21—which is visible through the caseback and includes a doctor’s pulsograph indication graduated for 30 pulsations—this 40mm watch is completed with an elegant salmon-colored domed dial. It also features several vintage design codes that can be seen on Minerva wristwatches from the ’40s and ’50s.
