Mew Suppasit talks to DAMAN about his career as an entertainer, entrepreneur and Montblanc’s first official friend of the brand from Thailand.

Thailand’s entertainment industry continues to rise, with many influential figures gaining global recognition for their captivating performances. Among them, the multitalented Mew Suppasit stands out. As an actor, singer, songwriter and entrepreneur, his career is nothing short of remarkable. Now, he has reached another milestone—becoming Montblanc’s first official friend of the brand from Thailand.
During a recent visit to Jakarta for the reopening of Montblanc’s newly renovated boutique in Plaza Senayan, Suppasit made time in his packed schedule to discuss his partnership with the brand and how he balances his many roles.
DAMAN: Hi, Mew! Welcome to Jakarta. We’re thrilled to have you here. For those who may not be familiar with you, can you briefly introduce yourself and share how it feels to be here as Montblanc’s friend of the brand? 
Mew Suppasit: Hi, I’m Mew Suppasit, an actor and artist from Thailand. This is my second time in Jakarta—the last time I was here was for a fan meeting. Now, returning as Montblanc’s first Thai friend of the brand is truly an honor.
DA: There must be a reason Montblanc chose you for this role. What excites you most about your partnership with the brand? 
MS: It’s exciting to work with a maison whose heritage, craftsmanship and innovation are so inspiring. I’m looking forward to this journey with them. What surprised me most was how closely Montblanc’s values align with my own work ethic. I strive to inspire others through everything I do—whether in music, particularly my songwriting, acting or other projects.

DA: How did your relationship with Montblanc begin? 
MS: It started three years ago when they invited me to an event in Thailand, but I had already been a fan of the brand for a long time. I’ve been wearing a Montblanc Bag for years, so becoming part of the family still feels surreal.
DA: You write music, and Montblanc is renowned for its craftsmanship in writing instruments. Do you see a connection between your work and the brand in this aspect? 
MS: Absolutely. I admire Montblanc’s writing instruments. Both of us celebrate craftsmanship in our own way and leave a mark through our work. That’s why I resonate with the brand so deeply. Last year, I had the opportunity to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Meisterstück pen, which further strengthened my connection with Montblanc.
DA: You juggle multiple careers, all of which have earned critical praise. So, tell us, what does a typical day look like for you? 
MS: On busy days, I always try to fit in a workout. Eating well and getting enough sleep are also essential. To keep a balance between work and free time, I schedule weekly and monthly meetings with my team.
DA: Out of all your roles, which do you enjoy the most? And how do you manage your time between your entertainment and entrepreneurship ventures? 
MS: Right now, I’m focusing on my entrepreneurial projects—I’ll be opening a café and a beauty clinic soon. But I’m also excited about my upcoming entertainment projects. A movie I worked on is set to premiere around June or July, and I have a Thai drama related to fashion as well as a remake of the Japanese series “Homeroom.” In the latter, I play a teacher who takes 29 students hostage as an act of revenge.

DA: What factors do you consider when choosing projects? 
MS: It depends. I look at every aspect in detail, from the story and characters to the production team and platform.
DA: Personal branding plays a big role in all your professions. How does your style reflect that? 
MS: My personal style should, of course, reflect my career. But at the same time, I prioritize dressing in a way that feels authentic to me. The most important thing is being comfortable in what I wear.
DA: Finally, is there a specific Montblanc collection you’re really into right now? 
MS: The Extreme 3.0 bag. I love that they recently introduced it in Cassis, a bold new color. I also heard Montblanc is launching new timepieces soon—I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out!
