In addition to a massive global activation campaign, Louis Vuitton has also erected a pop-in store at Louis Vuitton Plaza Indonesia to mark the debut of Pharrell Williams as its men’s creative director

The appointment of critically acclaimed musician and fashion star Pharrell Williams as Louis Vuitton Men’s creative director has become one of the biggest bit of news across the industry. His first collection, which debuted at the Men’s Paris Fashion Week last summer became testament to his mastery, proving that he deserved all the praise he has received so far. To further celebrate Williams’ appointment, Louis Vuitton has initiated a global activation campaign to showcase the aforementioned spring/summer 2024 collection.

This global activation imitative encompasses exhibitions at 50 selected Louis Vuitton stores around the world, and includes pop-in and pop-up concepts. One of those 50 countries is Louis Vuitton’s Plaza Indonesia store, where the pop-in activation has been taking place since January 4, 2024. The installations serve as evolutions of the creative director’s first show that took place at Pont Neuf, and invites customers to experience the multi-sensorial universe inspired by the collection.

Upon entering the store, visitors will see Louis Vuitton’s signature Damier displayed as the essence of the installation. The immersive space was also envisioned based on the LVERS philosophy that is so dear to Williams. Moreover, it underlines the connection within Louis Vuitton as a diverse global community and its core values of creativity and craftsmanship. In addition, Louis Vuitton also presents the newly reimagined Speedy bag as part of the installation, making the activation more than just a store but a creative space for all style connoisseurs fond of wearable arts.
