Lionel Messi is the face of the new Louis Vuitton Horizon Travel campaign

The football star left his jersey at home and got suited up to star in the new Horizon luggage campaign lensed by Glen Luchford.

Louis Vuitton’s sportsman darling Lionel Messi is back in fashion with a bang. After starring in a previous LV trunk campaign with fellow footballer Cristiano Ronaldo just before last year’s World Cup, the current world champion now graces the house’s new travel campaign titled “Horizon Never End.” With his never-ending aura, the football GOAT looks gorgeous while lounging in an airport terminal featuring his Horizon suitcase and trunk by his side. In another shot, the Argentine appears even more relaxed with a piece of cabin luggage under his feet. The new campaign is shot by renowned British photographer Glen Luchford.

As pictured with Lionel Messi, the Horizon line features ultra-lightweight cases in moulded mesh, covered in specially developed Monogram or Damier canvas, trimmed with natural cowhide. The luggage has 360-degree directionality utilizing small wheels to ensure smooth maneuvering. Inside, a generous flat-bottomed interior optimizes packing space.

The Horizon luggage—designed by industrial designer Marc Newson—has been the epitome of essential travel since 2014. Nine years on, and Newson has helped the house reshape the art of travel and designed many travel companions, including the ultra-lightweight Horizon Soft rolling luggage in thermoformed knit and an elegant modernization of the Pégase suitcase. Aside from its stylish appearance, Louis Vuitton’s luggage family under Marc Newson has been recognized for its durability and functionality. Furthermore, it makes traveling a lot easier and more sophisticated at the same time.
