Lanvin Presents Elevated Street Style in Its Fall/Winter 2021 Collection

For fall/winter 2021, Lanvin creative director Bruno Sialelli looks backwards and forwards—drawing inspiration from the past, reinvented for the present, calibrated for the future.

For Lanvin’s menswear offerings of the season, however, Sialelli presents a more casual lineup, one rooted in the streets and in reality. All that being said, the menswear collection is unmistakably Lanvin and draws plenty of inspiration from the brand’s rich heritage. Also unmistakable is the elevation of function, for this is basically a daily wardrobe elevated with a sense of luxury.

Comfort and ease seem to be quite prevalent as well. Take, for example, the suits, which are cut wide and slouch at an extended shoulder. They are then paired with Lanvin’s new Curb sneakers. Another functional theme would be survival, as seen in the Ice Pack down outerwear in silver metallic and various shades of blue. All in all, Lanvin’s fall/winter 2021 menswear collection presents a more down- to-earth counterpart to the house’s womenswear creations; at the same time, however, it still corelates with the couture core of Lanvin.
