As the 2024 Olympics draws near, Lacoste pays homage to the legendary Paris Games of 1924 through the Lacoste Heritage Paris 1924 collection
Honouring the legendary 1924 Paris Games, Lacoste, a byword for French athletic refinement, presents its newest line: Heritage Paris 1924. The company celebrates its illustrious history this summer by fusing modern design with nostalgic charm through this collection.
Inspired by the City of Light in its prime as the center of stylish refinement and athletic prowess, the Heritage Paris 1924 capsule collection transports us to that glamorous era via sport. A total of eight different items—all infused with a palette of blue and beige—are included in the collection. These include traditional polo shirts, hats, waterproof jackets, T-shirts, piqué polos, tanks, sweatshirts, shorts and a stylish sports bag.
Crafted with Lacoste’s legendary artistry, the collection turns sports essentials into city must-haves. To create modern sportswear with a touch of classic Parisian style, the team dug into the archives of the 1924 Games and reinterpreted its graphic codes, which included colours, typography, and prints.
Lacoste continues to demonstrate how to combine French style with modernity, taking cues from its almost century-old history. The collection offers a distinctive shopping experience and is available through Lacoste’s official website, the Olympic Shop, a few Lacoste boutiques in Paris, and a temporary pop-up store at Charles de Gaulle Airport starting on August 1.
