Kenzo Pays Tribute to Clubbing in New Fashion Film

Kenzo does it again with another thought-provoking fashion film

For the past few seasons, Kenzo has been nailing the whole fashion film thing with visually stunning short features. And now the brand is continuing its successful streak with their new film, which is dedicated to men’s resort and spring/summer 2017 collections.

Called “Club Ark Eternal,” the film centers around the culture of, as the title suggests, clubbing. According to an official statement, the theme of clubbing is chosen because it can be a “powerful source of alternative energies against racism, sexual oppression and class violence.” The release of the film is indeed relevant, what with the tragedies that happened in nightclubs in Orlando and Istanbul.

In the seven minute-long film, Kenzo-clad dancers performing dances choreographed by award-winning Ryan Heffington, aka the man behind Sia’s iconic music video for her song “Chandelier,” become the main stars. The film is helmed by directing duo Partel Oliva.
