<h2>On Saturday and Sunday, May 28-29, the 32nd Jakarta Highland Gathering was held in <a href="http://www.lippokarawaci.co.id/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lippo Karawaci</a>. Following the tradition of the Highland Games, which have been played for the last few centuries in Scotland, part country fair/part athletic championship, it was a weekend of fun and excitement for the whole family.</h2>

<p>The Jakarta Highland Gathering is an annual event that invites the international community in and around Jakarta as well as other individuals interested in a weekend festival based on the traditional Highland Games of Scotland. Other than featuring the best of Scotland, its country and highland dancing, pipes and drums and &#8220;Heavies&#8221; events such as the caber toss, shot put, etc., there will also be competitions and shows including numerous team sports, bazaars and cultural performances from all over the world.</p>
