Globetrotting model Elia Cometti opens up about his career, fitness routine and what lies ahead in the ever-evolving fashion world he roams in

Elia Cometti’s journey as a model began with an unexpected twist of fate. “I was discovered very early, at 17, by my mom’s friend,” he reminisces. This fortuitous moment marked the beginning of a remarkable career that has seen him working with some of the most prestigious fashion brands and designers from all over the world. Reflecting on his numerous collaborations, Elia’s appreciation for each experience is evident. “I don’t have a favorite because all the brands and designers I’ve worked with have been special in different ways and are part of my journey,” he contemplates. “Each collaboration has taught me something unique and helped shape my career.”

In a profession often characterized by superficiality, Cometti stands out for his emphasis on authenticity. “I think that, as with all aspects of life, staying true to yourself and your values always pays off in the long run, both at work and in your personal life,” he points out.

Modeling is a very subjective job. So, in my opinion, there isn’t a single set of guidelines that’s valid for everyone.

Gratitude is a recurring theme in Cometti’s narrative. “I am very grateful for every moment I have experienced in my journey, from the early years when I was a teenager until today,” he exclaims. “These experiences have led me to become the person I am now, and that’s incredibly rewarding.” As for the future, Cometti approaches what lies ahead with an open mind and a pragmatic outlook. “You never really know what’s going to happen because this is an environment that changes very quickly and, as I already said before, subjectivity is what matters most in this business. It’s really difficult to make predictions. The only thing I can say, which might seem like a cliché but really isn’t, is that it’s very important to feel good with yourself and be ready for the right things that come your way.”

Fitness has been an ever-present cornerstone of Cometti’s life; a fact that becomes apparent as he discusses his daily routine. He trains daily, sometimes even twice a day, usually in his home gym. His passion for football keeps him active, and he trains and plays as often as he can when not traveling for work. Despite a demanding travel schedule, Cometti remains committed to his fitness regimen, committing himself to train wherever in the world he finds himself in. This routine helps him to stay focused and mentally free.
