Inspiring Campaigns of Spring/Summer 2019

TOD’S

Poster Boy – The Anwar Hadid and photographer Craig McDean collaboration returns for Tod’s campaign this season. Titled “Baci for Tod’s” or “Kisses for Tod’s,” another zippy wordplay after last season’s “Ciao!”

The mood is also similar with their first collaboration, snapping the young model while in motion, candidly shot on the street, but this time in color instead of black-and-white. Tod’s also released several “backstage” shots of Hadid where we can observe him up close and personal.

KENZO

The Good Place – Kenzo collaborated with renowned photographer, artist and filmmaker David LaChapelle in creating their ambitiously boisterous campaign.

A reinterpretation of the ultimate paradise that is “Kenzotopia”, it’s filled with happy models such as Richie Shazam and Alton Mason, in explosively colorful collection and props. All done and posed before saturated backdrops depicting suburban Los Angeles and the nature landscapes of Maui – further visually depicting what LaChapelle’s “Kenzotopia” is.
