ACTOR WHO ROCKS. Rocker and actor are not exactly two occupations that go hand in hand, but Jared Leto seems to get his grip on both worlds really well.
“Be brave, follow dreams, say fuck you to everybody and fight for what you believe in.”
His initial fixation in music, having moved from his hometown in Louisiana to Los Angeles in 1992, led him to land a role in television productions of “Camp Wilder” and “Almost Home.” The December-26 born then stretched his performance to the silver screen, creating a solid portfolio filled with daring, extraordinary roles. Among them are the Olympic winner in the 1997 biopic “Prefontaine,” a 118-year-old man in “Mr. Nobody” and a HIV-infected transvestite in “Dallas Buyers Club.” That acting feat, thankfully, does not hinder him from making his big break in music.

“As artists, it’s our job to delve into the uncomfortable, the difficult and the challenging.”
Together with his brother Shannon Leto, the blue-eyed vocalist founded the 30 Seconds to Mars rock band in 1998. Off-screen, the vegetarian singer’s personal life and style are frequent topics of discussion in the international media.

“It’s about getting to a point in your life where you’re ready to let go and move on and become the better version of yourself.”
Once named as one of the most beautiful people in the world, Leto is notorious for the change of haircut, hair color and body tone. He also became the face of Hugo Boss fragrance twice in the year 2011 and 2013. In addition to that, his unmistakable rocker attitude and wardrobe award him the front-row seats of many fashion shows.
