Just look at this really cool collection!
A new capsule collection called “Haru” from Homme Plissé Issey Miyake will arrive this November. It’s only a month from now, but after seeing the first images from the capsule, it feels like a year. We just can’t wait for it to drop. It’s that good!
With a silhouette that is inspired by kimono and yukata, the pieces in the collection are designed with prints that borrow from the works of Japan’s most iconic artists from the 18th to 19th century, namely Suzuki Harunobu and Kitagawa Utamaro.
Also featured is an image from artist Hokusai’s erotica woodblock print, “The Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife,” which had inspired Pablo Picasso in the past.
