French fashion house Hermès once again goes for sophistication over trends through its spring/summer 2025 collection
For next year’s summer, Hermès presented a fresh interpretation of a summer wardrobe. The brand showcased its idea of summer dressing by presenting an articulated yet refined collection guaranteed to turn heads inside the Palais d’Iéna.
This elevated summer collection, dreamed up by Hermès’ creative director Véronique Nichanian, brings forth a relaxed vibe inspired by coastal vacations. Imbued with elegance, this collection present essential transitional pieces from spring to summer.
Nichanian’s sensibility in leathercraft is also on full display in the collection, as evident in a lambskin button-down shirt with an equestrian drawing print in a homage to the maison’s heritage. Zippered vests, also made of leather, were also revealed during the show, paired with tanks underneath and ankle pants. Moreover, parkas and oversized jackets took center stage with their soft hues and contrasting buttons.
Another scene stealer from the show was, of course, the Haut à Courroies bag. Although the overall theme still revolved around beach styles, Hermès remained committed to exquisite leather crafting by using a combination of leather and canvas. Alongside the bag, Hermès accessorized the collection with a lineup of calfskin sandals. Together, they made a summer staple that is so versatile yet endless.
