Unlike Burberry that sued rapper Burberry Perry for trademark infringement, Gucci decided to embrace GucciGhost. Born Trevor Andrew, GucciGhost, or also known as Trouble Andrew, is a street artist known for his extensive, albeit unathorized use of Gucci’s iconic double G logo.
During the brand’s fall/winter 2016 runway show, creative director Alessandro Michele surprised many people when he unveiled a range of items designed in collaboration with the street artist. The items include sweatshirts, T-shirts, bomber jackets, totes, shoes and other accessories for both men and women.
