While the original Armani Code with its all-black bottle and dark-hued ad campaigns scream mystery, the upcoming Armani Code Colonia looks warmer and more open, judging from the light blue-colored bottle. The first image from the ad campaign, fronted by Chris Pine, is significantly more illuminated as well.
If it seems like one non-fuss, straight-to-the-point fragrance to you… Well, Armani Code Colonia is indeed meant to be easy to wear with notes that are chosen to represent simple elegance. Bergamot, mandarin and pink pepper are blended to create citrusy top notes; while orange blossom, clary sage and salicylate are added to the heart notes for that much-needed touch of sensual masculinity.
Last but not least, the fragrance is concluded with base notes that are composed of tonka, heliotrope and amber wood.
