The store reopening was held last October, following the American company’s expansion plan in the country. While still inhabiting its old location in Plaza Senayan shopping mall, the new old store now houses a section dedicated to men’s collection. The thing that differentiates Coach’s men’s bags from other in the market is the material used to craft them, namely the glove-tanned leather. This kind of leather is inspired by, as the name suggests, a well-worn baseball glove in which the leather has become soft yet sturdy and continues to improve over time.

For decades, glove-tanned leather has been Coach’s signature. Glove-tanned leather is used for Coach’s classic line, the Bleecker collection, as well as its new fall 2012 line, the Legacy collection.
