STILL A MYSTERY. Ever wonder what the masculine scent of guilt would smell like? The new Gucci Guilty Absolute offers an interpretation of this mysterious aroma
How do you capture the smell of guilt? Gucci, for one, manages to do it with their latest masculine fragrance, the Guilty Absolute. The nose behind the scent is Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele himself, in collaboration with master perfumer Alberto Morillas. The resulting fragrance is an interpretation of what it means for a man to express his own sexuality and masculinity. Accompanying it is a short video campaign starring Jared Leto against an antiquely furnished room as his backdrop. There’s also “Adagietto” from the 5th Symphony playing in the background, hinting at the mysterious, sensual and sexy atmosphere of the scent, which is very animalistic and earthy—perfect for the powerful man who exudes an aura of mystery.
