Much to our surprise, the collection managed to maintain the design signatures of Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s creative director, without any sign of compromise on his couture approach. The brand DNA of Balmain was visible even on the simplest pieces. Sweatshirts and T-shirts were cut precisely, and even sported the Parisian brand’s logo. More importantly, anybody looking to treat themselves to some ornately embellished pieces and exquisite leather jackets, this collection has no shortage of either.
