<p>It sits on the top of the Menara BCA, on the 56th floor to be precise, making it the highest restaurant and bar in the Big Durian. The most impressive part of Skye is obviously the view, which gives patrons a look at the capital from an angle available to few before. The venue does not, however, simply rely upon its high position to please customers. The classy wood-paneled interior, designed by Willis Kusuma Architects, is chic, modern and understated, an excellent contrast to the city’s colorful and chaotic skyline.</p>

<p>Food and beverages are handled with Ismaya’s usual aplomb, with delectable desserts being a highlight of the menu. Prices are high, but not sky-high compared to other upscale nightlife hotspots in Jakarta. On par with the best Singapore and Hong Kong have to offer, Skye is a very welcome addition to the capital.</p>
