Dolce & Gabbana heads to Sicily for the Carretto collection’s campaign

Dolce & Gabbana’s Carretto collection resonates with the rich cultural tapestry of Sicily, as captured by Steven Meisel in a series of captivating campaigns.

Drawing inspiration from Sicilian culture, Dolce & Gabbana unveiled the Carretto collection, unleashing vibrant energy for every man. The line is showcased through a series of seasonal campaigns, and for fall/winter 2023, models Kit Butler, Xu Meen and Akbar Shamji are featured to demonstrate the collection’s essence.

Butler, who also closed Dolce & Gabbana’s spring/summer 2024 show, is a regular face in the Sicilian house’s campaigns, while Xu and Shamji have appeared on various catwalks of well-respected brands this year. The trio perfectly embody the youthful spirit of Carretto, looking stunning amidst the psychedelic setting marked by the Sicily motif.
