The influence of streetwear in Dior Homme has become more apparent during the Fall/Winter 2016 show, when creative director Kris Van Assche unveiled the Darklight accessory range
Van Assche reinterpreted Dior’s historical monogram in gray and black, and decorate it with tartan motifs or embroideries in red, a recurring theme found throughout the range.
One highlight from the Darklight collection is the backpack with what looks like colorful paint drips in its center, which sort of symbolizes the duality (street and Dior’s heritage) of the range.
Other than backpacks, Darklight also consists of travel bags, crossbody backpacks and messenger bags.
